Join Company Chameleon in their studio for an evening of new work by some of the North West's most exciting dance makers.
From cinematic storytelling to playful physicality, Uplift 2025 celebrates the next generation of dance artists.
Be inspired when Company Chameleon open their studio doors for Uplift 2025 - a stunning showcase celebrating the North West’s most exciting dance makers.
Throughout autumn, emerging artists Matthew & Bren and Hui Hsin & Hui Jing have been in residence at Chameleon, creating bold new work with the support of the company’s creative team. This special studio sharing is a chance to see what they’ve been making - and to be part of the creative process by offering feedback on their work in progress.
Expect cinematic nods and physical poetry in Matthew & Bren’s Three-Wheeler, a triptych inspired by early silent movies. Meanwhile, Hui Hsin & Hui Jing experiment with fluorescent costume and shifting light in a playful exploration of what’s seen and unseen. The evening rounds off with a special performance by previous Uplift artist, Jordan Sheard, whose piece The Joy of Kissing is a tender, cheeky duet about love, care and connection.
Fresh, fearless and full of heart - Uplift 2025 shines a light on the next generation of dance artists in the North West.
21 November. Tickets from £3.00.
